Australia tour of Pakistan

Australia tour of Pakistan consists of 3 Test matches, 3 ODIs and 1 T20. This is a historic tour as Australia will be seen playing in Pakistan grounds after 24 years.

The Test matches were played in Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore respectively and the limited over matches will be conducted in Lahore.

Pakistan and Australia will play each other against test matches for the Benaud – Qadir Trophy. All future test matches between these two cricketing nations will be played for the Benaud-Qadir Trophy. The inaugral Benaud-Qadir Trophy was won by Australia as the won the final test in Lahore.  Usman Khawaja was the standout performer as he scored 496 runs throughout the series and was deemed player of the series.

Pakistan lost the first ODI but bounced back in the next two ODIs and won the ODI series. Babar Azam was named player of the series for his outstanding knocks scoring one 50 and two 100’s in 3 ODI matches.

Ausralia won the one-off T20 match and Aaron Finch was declared as player of the match for his contribution of 55 runs from 45 balls.
