ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will be the 9th edition of the T20 World Cup that will be played in the Caribbean and the USA. USA will host a Cricket World Cup for the first time and history will be made when Pakistan takes on India in New York on the 9th of June 2024. This is the second time the T20 World Cup will be played in the Caribbean. Last time the cricket World Cup was played in the West Indies was back in 2010 when England won the World Cup defeating the Aussies in the final.
This time there are 20 teams divided into 4 groups.
Group A: Canada, India, Ireland, Pakistan, USA
Group B: Australia, England, Namibia, Oman, Scotland
Group C: Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papa New Guinea, Uganda, West Indies
Group D: Bangladesh, Nepal, Netherlands, South Africa, Sri Lanka
