Sri Lanka tour of India consisted of 3 T20s and 2 Test matches.

India won the T20 series comfortably by defeating Sri Lanka in all the T20 matches. The first match was played in Lucknow and the 2 matches that followed were played in Dharamsala. Shreyas Iyer was named player of the series.

India won the first test match comprehensively by an innings and 222 runs. A one sided match in which the Indians were ahead of the Sri Lankans in all criteria. Be it bowling, batting or fielding.

India also won the second test match convincingly. Dimuth Karunaratne’s gritty second innings century was not enough for Sri Lanka to end up on the winning side as cricket is a team sport and requires most of the team to contribute in order to secure a win. Rishabh Pant was named player of the series.
