Hey cricket fans! Welcome to our site.

As you can tell, DR cricket is a cricketing website based in Pakistan. Our primary focus is to bring astounding articles that will cover every aspect and genre of cricket; from Ashes to Pakistan-India rivalry, as well as shedding a light on both the bright and dark sides of the cricketing world. Additionally, we plan on providing regular updates regarding the ongoing and future series.

Furthermore, we would like to provide an opportunity to other cricket enthusiasts, like ourselves, to have a chance to voice their views and opinions regarding the sport. Anyone who wishes their writing to be published can email their writings to us directly and we will post it, along with your name, provided that it is properly written.

Like T20, life is also very short. Spread love and take care of people around you. Seize every opportunity to work on your goals, along with watching cricket with a steaming mug of Kashmiri Chai (or whatever beverage you hold dear). Stay safe and stay updated.

DR cricket is handled by two individuals, who first started watching cricket after the inaugural T20 World Cup and could never stop since then. Cricket for us has become a getaway from all the various forms of stress life comes with, for example the academic burden. This website not only grants us a break, but also acts as a platform where we can present our viewpoints and theories regarding the sport that we’ve grown to love, without any sort of hesitation. It is therefore that we ensure that all the work that we put into our site is strictly our own; including managing, writing and all forms of editing.

Hello, I am Dawood Cheema, known fondly as DC, hailing from Lahore and currently pursuing my undergraduate degree at Forman Christian College University. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am deeply immersed in the world of cricket, writing articles and managing the website, DR Cricket.

To me, cricket is more than just a sport; it’s akin to that essential cup of morning coffee that kickstarts my day. The pulse of cricket, from the latest news to the controversies, fuels my passion and drives my enthusiasm. Whether it’s the intensity of the Ashes series, the nuances of County Cricket, or the electrifying Pakistan-India rivalry, I find myself deeply engrossed in every facet of the game.

Writing about cricket isn’t just a hobby; it’s a passion that fuels my aspirations. One of my cherished dreams is to collaborate with renowned players and commentators, contributing to the rich tapestry of cricketing discourse. Whether it’s engaging in lively debates, crafting insightful articles, providing commentary, or dissecting match analyses, anything that involves cricket captivates my attention.

In essence, cricket isn’t just a sport for me—it’s a way of life. I eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead, as I continue to immerse myself in the boundless world of cricket.

As one of the co-owners of this website, I bring a blend of legal expertise and a passion for cricket. Graduating with a law degree, I have immersed myself in the intricacies of the legal field while nurturing my love for the sport of cricket.

My cricketing journey commenced at the renowned Moin Khan Cricket Academy in Karachi, where I honed my skills before transitioning to the Abdul Qadir Cricket Academy in Lahore. Currently, I proudly represent Lahore Cantt Cricket Club, where I continue to refine my craft. Over the past decade, I have captained my college cricket team on multiple occasions, showcasing my leadership and tactical acumen on the field.

In cricket, I find solace and joy. As a medium-paced all-rounder, I draw inspiration from cricketing legends such as Imran Khan and Jacques Kallis, shaping my playing style after theirs. Beyond the boundaries of the cricket field, I also find myself deeply rooted in my support for the Pakistan Cricket Team and am an ardent follower of Real Madrid, proudly wearing the badge of a Madridista.

Navigating the demanding landscape of legal studies often proves challenging, with its endless stream of reading and analysis. Yet, amidst the rigors of legal academia, cricket remains my anchor, providing a sanctuary where I can find respite and rejuvenation. Moreover, I find immense satisfaction in articulating my experiences and insights through the art of writing, bridging my dual passions.

Keep connected and stay happy.
